There is a wide mix of visitors who attend the show, some there for dresses, some for venues, but all keen for new bargains or ideas - as long as you are pro-active on your stand, it will be totally worth your while! All Dressed Up
Weddings at Loch Lomond came to the Scottish Wedding Show for the very first time this October. Our company is a fantastic reference guide for Brides who are considering coming to Loch Lomond to get married. We were positioned on stand 447C, a nice airy section where Brides crossed en route into the middle of the arena, so many of them passed by. In total we gave out over 1500 brochures and leaflets which we were delighted about. I am looking forward to seeing our web hits next month and spreading the word about Loch Lomond! Victoria Crighton
Strathblane Country House Hotel
Just a short note to say congratulations on such a wonderful show this year from everyone at Strathblane Country House Hotel! We thoroughly enjoyed it and thought it was one of the best yet. It was obvious to everyone how much hard work and organisation went into the planning, and it certainly all paid off! After an excellent start on the Saturday we were worried the Sunday might be quiet, but to our delight, the show only got busier and busier as it went on! With such high attendance you gave us the best possible chance to attract new business from a captive audience! We also really appreciated how well staffed the event was, with guides on hand to help, stewards to keep everyone in line (and in their stands!) and superb catering staff to give all the exhibitors well deserved sustenance! We would just like to say that the SECC show is undoubtedly the mainstay of our business. The show in October was superb and we actually ran out of order forms on the Sunday. The show is expertly run (we have been to lots of shows elsewhere) the staff at the SECC are helpful but not overwhelming and we would recommend exhibitors trying it out. Be patient - quite often it's the following show before you do business. We have recommended the show to a few exhibitors and nearly everyone has found it a huge success. I truly believe if you can't sell at the SECC you need to go home and have a long hard look at your product, your prices and your selling technique. Jackie Adams
