Something Blue McLeans Gin – The Perfect Way to Toast Your Wedding Vows. Suitably named after the old poem, Colin & Jessica created Something Blue to celebrate their own wedding in June 2018. Initially intended as a Limited-Edition release of just 150 bottles, Something Blue would shortly go on to become the McLean’s most popular expression. This award-winning colour changing gin was given a makeover in late 2021, with the striking lace design depicted on the bottle now paying homage to Jessica’s very own wedding dress. Something Blue’s unusual flavour profile is imparted by a carefully considered combination of seven key botanicals, with a particular focus on the marriage of the makers’ two personal favourites: tonka beans and buchu leaves.
