Scottish Wedding Show Code of Conduct

Welcome to the Scottish Wedding Show – Scotland’s largest and most inspiring wedding event! We’re here to create a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable experience for everyone. By attending the Show, you agree to follow this Code of Conduct, which supports our Terms of Entry.

Who this Code applies to

This Code applies to everyone attending, exhibiting, or supporting the Show, including visitors, exhibitors, suppliers, and staff.

Creating a welcoming environment

We want the Scottish Wedding Show to be a positive, friendly, and respectful space where everyone feels valued and comfortable.

Unacceptable behaviours

The following behaviours will not be tolerated:

  • Discrimination of any kind, including age, gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, or sexual orientation.
  • Harassment or intimidation, including threats, offensive language, gestures, or physical aggression.
  • Sexual harassment, including inappropriate comments, physical contact, or gestures.
  • Displaying offensive or explicit content, including nudity or sexually suggestive imagery.
  • Wearing clothing with offensive slogans, language, or imagery.
  • Heckling, catcalling, or deliberately disrupting exhibitors or activities.
  • Damage to the venue, stands, or anyone’s property.
  • Smoking or vaping anywhere inside the venue.


Reporting a concern

If you see or experience behaviour that goes against this Code, please report it straight away. All reports will be handled confidentially.

How to report:

  • Speak to a member of the security team, event staff or venue staff.
  • Visit the Organiser’s Office on-site.
  • Email [email protected] with as much detail as possible (including time, location, and description).


Please report any incidents as soon as possible, ideally while you are still at the event, so we can take appropriate action.

Actions we may take

If someone doesn’t follow this Code, we may take action, including:

  • Immediate removal from the event without refund.
  • Banning from future events.
  • Reporting serious incidents to the police or relevant authorities.
