Following 2 successful years in Edinburgh she opened the Bearsden branch with the aim of growing the business into the West of Scotland whilst retaining the quality and service the customers have come to expect. The company now has stores in Stockbridge and Bearsden, and in 2021 opend a designated wedding cake bakery in Edinburgh. Now Liggy is more likely to be found behind her laptop; however she does love meeting her beautiful couples-to-be to chat about all things wedding!

Writing your vows and telling your love story can be daunting. In this session, Scottish celebrants share insider tips to make this a pain-free process and give an overview of the very important legal paperwork that must be completed.

Paul Browett became a Celebrant following a background in business management and public speaking - so becoming a Celebrant was a natural step for Paul, as he had always worked closely with others, to motivate and inspire people, to celebrate their achievements, and hosting celebration events and awards ceremonies. Paul believes that a ceremony shouldn’t be the dull part that people sit through before the party, and guarantees that his ceremonies are where the FUN BEGINS!

Mary Docherty worked as an optometrist for almost 30 years before changing her life’s path to do something which she felt was more her, and which came from the heart. She loves people, and as an optometrist was always fascinated by people’s stories, so being part of the defining moments in people’s lives is something she considers to be an honour.

Sharon has 30 years’ experience in the bridalwear industry and the boutique – along with sister business Opus Atelier – has grown into one of Scotland’s leading names in bridal fashion, thanks to its quality of service, experience and in-house expertise.

Oskar not only plans weddings, he's also a legally binding Humanist wedding celebrant and an associate wedding business coach with Kelly Mortimer! Most recently, Oskar also co-directs Edinburgh Wedding Directory with his husband since 2021 and is currently Group Wedding Sales Manager for the Sonas collection of hotels on the Isle of Skye .
