As the Anderbell's we purchased the Lonan house in May 2025 and have spent the remainder of 2025 and the start of 2026 carefully restoring and regenerating the gardens. Our vision has been to create a peaceful, romantic setting with a variety of special areas designed specifically for elopements and micro weddings. The grounds include a picturesque lochan with two bridges, surrounded by 100-foot pine trees, along with over 100-year-old rhododendron trees with intricate branches creating natural walk-through tunnels and intimate ceremony spaces. With 27 acres of woodland and gardens, we offer a wide range of locations — so even if our initial ideas are not exactly what a couple has in mind, we are confident there will be another area that feels just right for them. Many of our spaces can be beautifully enhanced with fairy lights or candlelight to create a truly magical atmosphere. We are also in the process of regenerating the original tennis court into a dedicated celebration space, complete with a wooden gazebo and seating for post-ceremony gatherings. As a family-run business, we take great pride in offering a personal, flexible, and thoughtful approach to every couple who chooses Lonan as their wedding setting.

We can facilitate micro weddings, elopements and handfasting ceremonies; and with 5 luxury self-catered suites you have the space to house up to 16 people to celebrate your union.
